I don't know what I would do without the academy. The instructors are great and very well versed in the materials. The academy’s course simplified UBC’s complex materials in a way which was easy to read and follow. The instructors are knowledgeable and managed to pace the materials with enough examples to allow my understanding of the subject matter. Before enrolling with the academy, I was finding a lot of difficulty trying to comprehend the relevant materials while self-studying. After attending the course, my instructors Tony and Rina were able to provide clear explanations that made it much easier for me and my colleagues to understand, especially when dealing with challenging mathematical problems related to mortgages. Tony used simplifying methods that helped us grasp the complex concepts easily so that we could confidently solve them on our own. To anyone considering a career in real estate, I strongly recommend enrolling with the academy.

At first, I was having trouble fully understanding and memorizing all the rules and law sections, but the in-depth class analysis and discussions were immensely helpful. We were able to break into groups for deeper discussions, and use flash cards to help simplify all the new information into memorable categories. My instructors were also instrumental in simplifying all the mortgage math problems so I could consistently solve them quickly and correctly, and very good at explaining the reasoning behind the calculations so I could understand and memorize the steps to solve the problems. After all the chapters and assignments were completed, a 100 question mock exam was arranged to help me prepare for my exam. Thanks to the academy. I was able to pass my UBC exam on the first try!
